[s-cars] Hood latch clip broke. Help!

There is a way to use a coat hangar wire with a hook on the end to grab 
the cable housing and pull to release the errant latch.  Don't remember 
if access with the hook is from the bottom or from the grill.  The fix 
after you get it open is to zip tie the broken plastic cable anchors.  
Hopefully someone  will chime in on how to specifically perform the release.
