So what about some short acronym for the plan GoF @ Cada Del Platt. I
suggest TBSSCEOANEFLWTDWWMIFI 2007 H, aka "To Become Somesorta Sillyass Car
Event On A N.E. Frozen Lake When That Damn Winter Will Make It Freeze, In
2007 Hopefully".

Vincent.

Vincent earns the Golden Tissue award (which is of course always better than
the Golden Shower).

It's not too late Vincent. He who arrives with cooler full 'o Belgians
(beers or women - or both) are always welcome to be closer to the NE hub of
Insanity. Or something and stuff.

Regardless... you're close enough where you are to join us @ the To Be
Formed GoF @ Casa De Platt, when and if his local lake freezes. It *is*
getting colder, hmmm.

Speaking of lakes... so the Today Show was on this a.m. whilst wifey and I
got ready for our respective days. I hear her say something like "hey! you
should do THAT". I turn and look, it's a spot on ice driving instruction...
at... STEAMBOAT WDS! I die laughing, say, wellllllllllll,
oooooooooookaaaaaayyyy... YOU said so. By the way it's in Colorado hunny.

Oh, she says.

But, funny how something like Today Show can add much needed crediBILLity to
trying to sell a //Spouse (TM - spouse that puts up with husbandal //Sdom)
on Somesorta Sillyass Car Event (SSCE)1/2 way across the country, as Baloney
keeps pointing out. I remember back to //SFest Round 1 years back, Baloney
piping up saying hey we gotta come up with some sorta official name for
"This Thing" quicklike or the wifey ain't gonna buy it.

Now Jen thinks Steamboat WDS is the best idea since sliced bread. Thank you
Matt Lauer. Not this year, but, least it's now on radar.

Have fun out there boyz, even if Pizzo does show up. Last I heard he WAS in
midst of swapping over his commuter brakes to fit the Pizza Cutters on
there. Hmmmm.

-Paul staying tooned for Full Justy Report etc. K.

Similar experience. I went to the second S-Fest with a straight, badly
maintained, S6 (but still not earning the name of S-Bitch in these early
days). AFAIK, the only noticeable moment I brought some value to the Audi
world this year was when I stood with a beer seating on the trunk of my urS,
only because (who was in charge of pictures this year, I have a few words
for him) the picture of this moment ended up as an AW wanna-be motivation
poster (BTW, way to go for the unknown AW guy who done that with my face
without asking, this motivation poster was really funny and good fun is the
only good reason not to respect the nethics about pictures or any other rule
or things and stuff (TM)).

The point is, beside uncontrollable and welcomed side effects, I was only a
spectator with nothing to bring in (except a few beers from Unibroue that
anyone could find in an US liquor store).

I enjoyed this PK garden/urS party so much up that, a few months later, I
was wondering about NE being the main US textile area (I'm a textile
engineer), only a green card away, and probably very close to living in
Quebec in terms of snow and sun and traditions (the main reasons I decided
to live in QC) but I would be closer to PK'n Co. (Should I emphasize the "&
Co." that made the S-Fest growing bigger possible? Probably not.)

Would I be wrong saying that these weird thoughts rarely happen outside the
S-list (exception made of the 18+ forums where 36D Russian girls abound but
that's out of S-Car list rules of posting :-)? Probably not.
