[s-cars] 4-ring badge on trunklid

somebody stole the 4-ring badge off the trunklid of my '92 last weekend
in SF.  i suppose i should thank the thief for being careful and not
damaging the paint in the process.  it cleaned up with tar and bug remover,
and there's no indication that a badge was ever there.

should i replace it?  i was all set to try to get one from the junkyard,
but realized that the trunk surface is slightly convex, while later audis
are slightly concave, so the badges from those cars may not fit.  anybody
know?

anybody with a wrecked S-car have a rear trunklid badge in good shape?
