[s-cars] Hood latch clip broke. Help!

You probably have it open by now.
Just take the metal clothes hanger  with a little hook on the end.
Visualize where the cable usually is on the inside of the top brace.
It will droop slightly, so reach in the top slot of the grill with  
the hanger
with the hook turned up to catch the cable.  Pull and the remaining
hood catch will release.  Metal replacement clips are available.
