[s-cars] Re Audiocy

In fact, after having tried both, I would say that a snow track is much more
fun than an ice track, because on snow you still have a decent amount of
grip you can play with. On an ice track, except when it is very rough (after
several laps of super-studded equipped cars for example), you really need
studded tire, or better super-studded to have fun, otherwise you're spinning
at 15mph.
The only advantages I see for the ice track is it can be built in minutes on
any frozen lake and the maximum speed you'll be able to drive on with
unstudded tires makes it very safe.
So, I've spotted one, may be two, track(s) in Quebec, with yours it makes
three, and I'm pretty sure you can find a few others: what about a Winter
audiOcy Tour lasting a full week? It already has ZE name: the 2007 WOT
Vincent thinking about thinking about thinking about something...

Yes, I can also get a great deal on a track in Dunville Ont.
Not as fun as on the ice, but snow covered asphalt still leaves plenty to
enjoy.

The only problem I see is us, poor Canucks, will have to crash in so many
places that there won't be any place left for beer by the time we hit the
Denver area.
Beside, there are tracks in Quebec that you can rent for your own group (See
previous post). A group of 10 would make it affordable, and really cheap
with 50.
So I would vote for a special winter track event for Audiots in Qc,
especially as it would be a 1.5h drive this time, to make a change. All we
need now is some crazy Canuck to organize this (No, don't look at me as soon
as I mention "crazy Canuck", thanks).

OK, I shouldn't have called Steamboat a CO event just because it is
in CO. The NE clan
needs to put some faith it those s-cars like Bill Maloney and Keith
Maddock and innumerable
others do, and hit the road, get them out of state, like to
Steamboat, CO. (Man, what a convoy!)
And, it's as doable as Mount Tremblant, just crash at some listers on
the way, say Baloney's or
Justy in Chicago, Kiloh in K.C., you voted for him, right?, then just
a short, straight drive to CO
Mafia hospitality. Probably crash in Mason City if you go that way,
or Charlie Smith's in Columbus.
:-)
They have Fin du Monde all over the states but why bother. You'll be
in the in the land of the
microbrewery, with over 60 in the Denver area. Stock up some Great
Divide Brewing "Hercules
Double IPA" or "Titan IPA" for those fireside debriefs.
Tom, voting to hit the road, like Kerault or Kerouac, well, maybe not
Kerouac.
