Chris,
I bought them for my truck 'cause I needed new blades. They worked very well, so I bought a set for the UrS4. They left a spot in the center of window. I sourced out a new arm threw the list, thanks all, and now the blades work great. Rain and snow, although we haven't seen any in a month plus. Nor. Cal.
Next a set for the wifes Suby.
FWIW,
Paul

So, driving home last night on I-94 I through a terrible
lake effect snow squall at speeds as low as 15 mph I
decided it was time for new wiper blades.
Remembering the threads earlier of the Bosch Icon blades I
stopped by Autozone and purchased one 422A and one 422B.
Installed said blades with the 422A on driver's side and
422B on passenger's side (redundant info huh?)
Man am I disappointed..upon testing (in the driveway)
the driver's side didn't wipe away any windshield washer fluid at all!
In fact the 2 year old stock blade did a better job of
wiping on the driver's side. Now the passenger's side did fine,
but that really doesn't help much.
I've returned the Icons and have decided to poll the list to
see whats what.
If you have said Icons, do they work well for you?
Is it possible I just need to "retension" the spring on the
driver's side...could the Icons be more sensitive to spring
tension then the stock blades?
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated...
Chris
