[s-cars] update on the hard brake pedal

Ok, with help from the list, we got the bomb replaced, and I now have power assist.  Yes!  Realized the bomb has probably been dead the whole time I have owned the car.  The clutch also failed two weeks ago, and we replaced the master and slave.  Even got pentosin delivered to okanogan w/in 24 hours.  Now.... the bad news.  since we put the car back together the door chime sounds constantly, no matter that the doors are all closed, and the locks will not lock when the car is running, but will when the car is shut off.  We bumped around under the dash quite a bit, especially when we expected to see the bomb and didn't.  Nobody's instructions say the darn thing is up near the front air dam.....  Any ideas on the door chime problem?  Thanks!

  Replacing the bomb is a simple task that can be figured out just by looking at it.

  I recharge bombs but if you are paying to have it done, get a new one.  I can't guarantee mine and if you have to change it again you are into some money.

  I have instructions at work but they are also on the 20v.org page.  Its for the 20v but its the same deal.

  Update:

Replacing the bomb and flushing the system seems to
have returned the pedal to normal.  No flashing light
with hard stops.  Also getting 20 something pumps
before stiffening.
Still wondering a bit about the servo - will test it
out better in a few days.
Could a failing servo lead to premature bomb failure?
