Baloney:

I have opined on this list about aluminum (and steel) in that
particular application, and that need no be repeated for those folks
who are willing to search the archives.

I would suggest that five years out of those caliper carriers ain't
too shabby, and that you should, at the earliest opportunity, buy some
steel RS2 caliper brackets from 034MoSport, or www.vagparts.com in
Jolly Ol'.

Also buy the proper bolts - 034 carries the bracket->strut bolts.  Any
Porsche dealer carries the proper caliper->bracket bolts.

Also consider getting some A8L D2 322x30mm rotors.
