I went with the RS2 brackets (and 993TT calipers) from the beginning,
knowing that only Audi and Porsche would have the engineering
resources to properly develop a brake caliper carrier. None of BIRA,
ECS or even StopTech have the technology, experience or deep pockets
to make sure the job gets done right.

That said, I am running BIRA hats w/ 993TT rotors. In my estimation
there is much less risk with a hat failure than with a caliper bracket
failure. My fallback would always be the A8/S8 rotors.
