[s-cars] New faltering problem

Dennis, Tom, Mark, et al,

The fuse, purportedly for the OXS heater circuit, is not in the location
shown in the "This is on page 30- of the VAG143AAN Motronic pamphlet." spot
as provided by Tom. In fact there is no fuse socket there either. Nor are
most of the other various relays present. (Pic available.) I did find a
15A fuse at the opposite end of the relay block. I pulled this fuse and it
was in good condition. I reinserted it and then, because I had an errand
which had to be taken care of, I fired the car up and headed out the
driveway. The falter, on this run anyway, looks to be gone or at least
very nearly so. Possibly just removing and reinserting the fuse cleaned
the contacts sufficiently to allow the OXS heater to work? Also possibly
I've learned to compensate for the weak fuel flow by feathering the
clutch. More testing is required but maybe... Maybe something else???

Someone suggested checking the engine temperature sender.
