[s-cars] To Buy or Not to Buy

Calvin,

The others have said it all. I just wanted to through one thought in
on the cruise control problem. Mine quit working a while back and
nothing showed up on the diagnostics. My problem is that the actuator
diaphragm that controls the throttle lost its mounting nut and
therefore is no longer connected to the bracket which is bolted to the
block under the intake manifold. I have a replacement nut but can't
get to the threaded rod on the back of the diaphragm without taking a
bunch of stuff off the engine. So, no cruise for now. See if your
actuator is still fastened to the bracket.
