Straight vents have no rotational direction as far as cooling air flow is
concerned. Slotted rotors should be oriented so that the outer end of the
slot contacts the pad first even if the vents are straight. I don't think
drilled rotors have the same requirement, but you could orient them the same
way as a slotted rotor.

I am installing some Zimmerman drilled rotors. Although this seemed like a
stupid question when I was putting them on, a little research on AW
indicated its not. The question is "Which direction is preferred, if the
vents look to be straight?"
