There is little choice anymore with so many cities mandated for  
reformulated gas for the summer smog problem.  Wait 'till you get to  
that 85 octane
regular in Denver.  :-)   I found it difficult to find any fuel  
better than 89 octane in Co. Springs.  Haul as much as you can of  
that 93 octane home with
you.

Despite all the ramblings about the evils of grain alcohol (I believe  
there are much better uses for the stuff) or methanol, I don't think  
this should be
very high on the list of problems for Emre to investigate.  58 psi  
should be plenty of fuel pressure to prevent the formation of any  
vapor lock in the
fuel system.  I suggest an electrical and flow check of the injectors  
as the place to start.
