And what would Sunoco / Shell / any other oil company do for there profit.
You see, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Be it an oil company, a car company or even a government.
The US was made on oil, and there is still lots to make on it. Why allow
something to jeopardize that ?
Maybe if I owned an oil company I would be looking at ways to distribute
energy , not oil. But I'm not.
Maybe if I where a big American car company, I would get some diesel
technology into some luxo cruisers, and maybe some van. I am not talking
ford pwerstroke 1,000 CID motors, but some nice small turbo diesels with
some fuel savings in mind. But I'm not.
Suppose I sound a bit disgruntled, I am. Too many stupid people wanting me
to do stupid things today I suppose, but it echoes my sentiment with today's
BIG BUSSINESS.
It's not just oil , or car companies...
We have some banks that are turning some real sick profits, all out of mine
and others pockets, so much so I am tired of hearing about it.
Hydrogen cars are great, will we see them... I doubt we will in this decade.
$3.00 a gallon just isn't that much.
While we continue to drive 6000 lbs walls down the roads sucking 10 MPG, you
can see where peoples priorities are. I can bet that at $6.00 a gallon or
more the roads would free up a bit.
Talk about rail service, where the F&*% are the trains. The rest of the
world has varying high speed rail, we barely have rail, and what we have is
priced outta this world. Suppose lots of euro rail is all electric anyways,
nice and green.
I think I'm stopping here. I could go on, and on, and on, but I'd rather be
with a GOF and doing things that are JNR and even JNP.
