Ian,

I have a mac book set up as you describe but VAG-com does not work with
parallels.  Ross-tech says you must run boot camp rather than parallels.  Do
you run VAG-com?  If so, how did you do it?

Check out the new MacBooks and MacBook Pros, then get a copy of
Parallels, lets you run both Mac OS X and your choice of Windoze. If
you go this route, be sure to sign up for AppleCare, takes care of
your durability interest, not that you'll ever need it...

I went this route about a year ago, and couldn't be happier.
