[s-cars] NAC - Looking for Boston Hotel and Restaurant recommends

Dave,
My wife and I haven't been to many places but Boston is one of them because
Mary's sister was in a travelling musical there (Showboat) about 10 years
ago. When we were there we stayed in Quincy. The subway goes right there
and works so well there's no real need to stay right downtown. I'm not sure
where we stayed - it may have been the Adam's Best Western but I highly
recommend staying in Quincy to save a little money. It appears that I have
lent all my Boston info to someone and they haven't returned it. There is a
ton of stuff to see in Boston but you don't want to drive around. We didn't
go to Martha's Vineyard but drove up to Cape Cod (Provincetown, I think) and
it was terribly slow going and not really worth the drive IMHO.
Bob

My wife and I are heading to NYC and Boston on Sept. 22 for two weeks
(first week driving up the coast towards Martha's Vineyard and then over
to Boston). We have a hotel in NYC but nothing in Boston. Would like
to stay downtown (maybe near the baseball stadium??). Price IS an issue
at some point.

TIA.
