[s-cars] Water Rather Than Coolant/Water

In regards to my earlier question about common coolant leaks, I'm about to
drive the car to my mechanic to have him hopefully fix the leak, but I only
have one bottle (1 gallon) of the blue VW/Audi coolant (G11, I believe) on
hand. With most of the coolant that was in my car now in a puddle on the
floor, would it be advisable to fill it with the remaining gallon and then
top off the rest with distilled water? Under this scenario, I'm thinking
there will be MUCH more water than coolant (like 3 or 4 to one ratio,
depending on how much the S holds and how much is left in the system). I'm
only driving it about 7 or 8 miles, and most will be on the highway, but I
just want to be sure that it won't be damaged by running almost entirely on
distilled water. Once at the shop I'll have it flushed and refilled with the
proper 50-50 mix.

Thanks for any advice.
