Autoweek ?almost? had a contest this week for use of an R8 over a
weekend?
based on filling out a form relating what you would do with it, what
cars
you currently possess and (uhoh) driving record.

No doubt Team JNR was saddling up at this prospect, eyes glassed over
and
rolled back in their head after reading this.

Apparently too, word of this prospect got back to the Autoweek folk?s
and
they seem to have cancelled or are back at the drawing board with this
crazy
project.

Dunno why they wouldn?t want to have a Certified Serged R8 returned with
the
nav system repeatedly requesting help and a new set of tires. 

Would have been fun to see four or five JNRer?s packed into one for a
spin
through the five burroughs to a non disclosed abandoned airstrip.

Oh my.  

HELP!  HELP!  HELP!  Man, priceless moment in time.  Can't make that
stuff up I tell ya.  Now where'd I put that "This Car's Been Serge'd"
bumper sticker again???

Four or 5 JNR'ers in an R8 - man - I'll be pondering that image for
hours now.  Man.
