[s-cars] Q7 ramblings

MMi, iDrive....what the hell ever happened to a couple of knobs that rarely
break and don't cost > $1,000 to replace when they do. Just because
technology makes it possible to do things doesn't mean they should be done!
This is why I love my '92 S-Car. I think it is just about the right amount
of technology. All this new crap is just distractions from driving. I can
turn my climate control down/up as well as my radio just by tactile feel
rather than having to use some menu driven piece of garbage made to impress
the X-Box generation.

10 minutes to turn down HVAC. Sounds a bit exaggerated. MMI takes some
getting used to, but I believe its a lot better than iDrive. Once you get to
know the panel, and you go back a regular car, you find its a lot harder in
a regular car. Its some what like a keyboard. Once you know where all the
buttons and functions, you usually don't have to look anymore or reach all
over the dash try to adjust different controls.
