[s-cars] climate control bulbs

the temperature display on my climate control ('92 S4) just went dead tonight.
i can barely see the number in the dark display.  the bulb replacement
doesn't sound too hard.  i understand that the inner bulbs illuminate the
display, and they are 1w.  so i just need to replace one bulb?  should
i replace all of them while the display is apart?

he suggested www.clairparts.com, but i can't find any parts there.
just accessories and froufrou.

www.autohausaz.com has 4A0 919 040 C (1w) but not 893 919 040 A (2w).

can anybody confirm that the bulb i need to replace is the 1w?
