[s-cars] Climate Control visibility

Unless you can find a replacement LCD, I think you are SOL, and will
need to pick up another unit off ebay/audifans.

My display recently did something strange, a few weeks ago after a very
cold night I started the car in the morning to find the display had
"flowered"... All the digits work fine, but the milar or dark film had
frozen into a pattern, and now it won't return to normal.

I took the unit apart last weekend, nothing I can do but change the LCD
:-(

/Jamu.

Is there anything that can be done about dead digit segments in the
climate control? Two of them on the temp side on my 93 S4 just died a
somewhat slow, 2 day death. gone completely now. I'm assuming this is
not cheap to fix....
