Yes, the inner bulbs are 1 watt. Here is my writeup on Audiworld, note there
is no need to detach the electrical connectors and you don't need to remove
the black faceplate.

I would replace all 4 while you are there. I would just go to your local VW
or Audi dealer, the difference in price will equal the hassle and shipping
if you order online.
