[s-cars] Aren't the new TT and the new A5 and S5 in directcompetition?

Autoweek and Road and Track seem to suggest the neuTT to be more
in line with Lee's suggestion (Z4/Boxster/Cayman) AND seem to suggest
that it's worthy of mention in the same breath as those two. Apparently,
the partial ASF and torque biasing have managed to move it's chassis
dynamics out of the Jr. FWD sports coupe league into a mentionable
in the world of true sports car/coupes. In fact one (European) editor at R&T

said, if he had to spend his own money, he'd take the TT over the Cayman
because it's overall performance came more than just "close enough" to
the Cayman (including the intangible dynamics) while it's greater
versatility
(i.e. practicality, AWD, space, etc) brought it over the top in favor of the

TT. FWIW, the US editor favored the Cayman.

Neither felt there was a clear cut winner in the TT/Cayman comparo.

I guess the TT's come a LONG way.

As for the A5/S5, I believe it's target AUDIance is the 6 series/M6 and
SLC market. I'd imagine it's targeted FAR above the Lexus coupe, whatever
it's called (besides, "forgetable").
