[s-cars] gamma cc stereo

I have a quick question about my stereo wiring that hopefully someone can
help me with. I have a 1995 S6 with the gamma cc stereo that says BOSE on it
and I had read that these cars did not have a GALA wire in the back. When I
pulled the plug on connector 3 and looked, there is a blue/white wire in the
spot where the GALA would be according the bentley manual (no wire where the
S Konst is) but the sticker on the stereo does not say gala in that spot
like some of the newer radios. What is this wire and where does it go? I am
going to install a new headunit and it would be nice if that was the GALA so
I don't need to pull out the instrument cluster to connect it up there, or
is there a way to test it. Thanks.
