Ha!  After I'd rolled my '79 rabbit I swore I would never by another  
VW.  My next car?  Why a '78 VW Scirocco, of course.  Loved that  
car.  Easy to work on, handled well, good gas milage. Sold it for  
more than I'd paid for it :-)  After that was a '76 BMW 2002 and  
after that was my (still under warranty) '85 4kq.  Been a  
Quattroholic ever since ;-)
