[s-cars] Anyone own a Cobra 75 WX ST? liked/dislike?

For my S6, I bought a Uniden 520XL and mounted it with a big 
wiretie to the side of the transmission mount. It was out of the 
way except when I needed it. Higher performance and cheaper than 
any all in one unit.

You're better off with a full unit and separate microphone. The 
key to good CB performance, however, is the antenna, and if you're 
driving a sedan, you should go with a trunk mount Wilson 1000. 
Magnetic mount antennas give 20-40% of the performance of a 
permanent trunk mount antenna, and glass mount antennas give 
10-20%.

Wagons are tough...I wish I could use a good permanent mount 
antenna that didn't require drilling a hole in the roof...
