Unless you really NEED it (AWD), if the car feels good w/o, I'd hit it.
Sounds like the new
(A5) GTi is a spiritual successor to the A1/A2 GTi and Scirocco. And, thats
a GOOD thing!
I've been tempted back to the Force by the A5 GTi, however, out here in
"snow" country (the Feb 14th storm left me slogging through 11" of broken
up, unplowed now) AWD is a necessity. The cargo capacity of the Saabaru kind
of seals the deal. But neither the //S-car, nor the Saabaru is capable of
providing the "added lightness" feel of my old GTi. Damn!
