I've done several of these swaps Eric. Actually the 1.8t boys discovered
much better spool up by just adding the valve. A customer of mine and I
actually did a back2back comparo (1.8t, 91200tq, RS2), and the RS2 was faster and
more steady. It's a plug and play for the factory part, and putting it in now
won't hurt a darn thing.

Thanks to you, and Ted, for the info.

So, there is a specific RS2 WGFV? Cool. I wonder how different it is
from the stocker. I don't have a problem paying for a higher-quality
part, or a part that'll be necessary when the RS2 mods all come
together.

So, if I put the RS2 part on now, before I do any of the other stuff,
will it hurt my car?

Does anyone have direct knowledge of this part?

Thanks again, guys - I had started dreaming about //Sciroccos while I
was eating some pizza, and needed to come back to the slippery slope.

Eric
