The mirrors will snap off if you angle them upwards and pry outwards
from between the mirror and the housing, but it's best to reach in and
undo one of the four clips with a small jeweler's screwdriver in order
not to break anything. To do this remove the small cover plate on the
underside of the mirror housing. This will give you better access to
the attachment points of the glass to the motor. Once you unclip one of
them the other three unclip rather easily with minimal force. Though if
you're putting new glass in I guess it doesn't really matter.
