There were a few hills on campus so we'd boogey pretty quickly down
the sidewalk, jump curbs and run stop signs with impunity. We would
occasionally hear "Stop! Police!" on the loudspeakers but would
routinely ignore that.
My roommate did crash once while attempting to elude a city cop (this
activity wasn't always limited to campus). He was coming back from
doing his laundry and crashed, creating quite a yard sale. The cop
gave him a verbal warning and concluded with "nice chase, if you'd
made that last corner you would have beaten me".
it was activities like these which led me to where I am today...
