Hmm, I actually LOVED my Eagle GT's in 185-60-14  when I bought them for my 
'85 GTI back in '88. Living in ND they sat in a showroom  for a year and 
were discounted to $ 50/ea from $ 100. I was stupid and ran them in the 
winter , until the first snowfall. I slid backwards over a curb bending both 
rear rims, and taking out a section of wooden fencing, denting the rear 
quarterpanel. Learning my lesson, I quickly bought some generic snowtires.

PS I also delivered pizza in that car in ND, from temps of -30F to 90 F.
