[s-cars] Auto-check swap

Hello all,
    How feasible is it to swap out the autocheck assembly and temp
    display assemblies between dashboards? I have an autocheck display
    that lights up (new bulbs), but the display itself is ultra faint. I
    can barely make out status changes, but for all purposes, its
    broken.

Any ideas?
