[s-cars] An Actual S-Car Question

OK, I have a question that isn't related to police cars or vw's.
 
My driver's B-Pillar trim piece is driving me nutz.  All it does is squeak when I accelerate or slow down.  The problem is compounded with newly installed RS2 go fast parts.
 
I removed both trim pieces a couple of weeks ago since I thought that something was loose inside.  I did put felt pads between the top and bottom pieces as well as along the plastic trim insert that the belt goes through.
 
But now that its warming up I think I made it worse.
 
Any secrets?  Do I need to put felt around the whole thing where it makes contact with the actual B-Pillar?
