Yes, the temp gauge is a completely different output from the MFTS than the
temp sensor that controls the fuel mixture. I think you can find the
reading on the one that controls the fuel mixture through the climate
control system back door. I don't remember the keys on the climate control
head you need to press but you can find them in the archives or I'm sure
somebody will chime in. I'm not even 100% sure that the MFTS has the temp
sensor in it that controls the mixture. It has an overtemp switch and the
temp gauge output for sure, but I am not sure what else.

Hello All,
Can someone confirm my thinking? On the car issues....
Codes pulled after hot temp stumbles. 2342 and 2413.
Both have to do with running rich?
If my Multifuntion sensor is bad, can my temp guage still function?
If my thermostat is stuck open, the engine will run cool and rich?
I thought that my boost issues were gone after replacing all the turbo
pressure valves and numerous small hoses that looked suspect. Now at most
boost issues are gone, till 30 min+ of consective driving an then a
consistant load, mostly hill climbs, as I live in Tahoe, it's coming home.
Threw everyones assistance the cars issues are almost gone.
Again and Again thanks,
Paul
