[s-cars] what shocks?

If your Boges are underdamped, then Bilsteins most definitely are not.

IMO, Bilsteins are a better match for the Audi than Koni.

BTW, the Bilstein/Eibach combo is probably the sweetest setup for the UrS
in terms of ride comfort- I think the springs and the shocks are nearly a
perfect
match.

Are you experiencing a small impact harshness or an inability to absorb big
impacts,
or both?

Small impact harshness that occurs all the time is usually a sign of the
shocks actually
being overdamped in compression damping.

The other thing is that the Boges are a OEM replacement type shock- not the
best in terms
of low stiction. I would think that a better quality shock would improve
things.

Do you have the spring rates of the '92 springs? If so, order the Bilsteins,
have them sent directly
to Bilstein's service department and have them custom valved to match your
springs- that would
be optimal.
