I have the sport shocks, as I understand it they only reccomend the hd's for
stock springs. I agree with you on the coil overs, that's where I plan to
go next.

Rit,

What Bilstein shocks Sport or HD? I've got HD on my Avant and it is 4WD
high!

I've been thinking about getting the 2B front springs and Sport Bilstein?
But my major concern is doing the snowplow thing!

I'd guess the only way to get the height back up to where we need it not be
a snow plow is to have coilovers all the way around. Adjust as the seasons
dictate!

I have the H&R/ Bilstein set up on my 93 urs4, and find that in general the
ride quality is good, but there is some aditional harshness, especially on
rough surfaces. The lowering works well to add confidence in the twisties,
but is too low for winter driving here in the intermountain West. (in deeply
rutted snow, you end up being a snow plow) If there were a way to raise the
suspension for winter by about the same amount of the drop caused by the
h&R's, that would be better. (dreams) I still find that even with the
H&R/bilsteins, there is too much body roll. My last fast ride, a 91 SHO
Plus, was set up with eibachs, tokikos, hd sway bars all around, strut tower
braces, and aluminum subframe bushings, and that car was harsh, but really
flat in the curves. Harshness isn't an issue for me if it is acompanied by a
meaningful performance enhancement. My question is if you don't have the 92

with rear bar, is there a retrofit kit available for the 93 and up urs?
