my friend has a '91 syclone and he uses it for moving a lot of
stuff. the payload rating is ridiculously low at 500 lbs. we moved some
big metal office cabinets last weekend, and the truck was sagging noticeably
from the load (3 big cabinets standing upright in the bed). it's a
compact truck to begin with, and lowering it didn't help its payload
capability.

the typhoon and syclone don't use the same engine as the buick GN, though.
the buick regal t-type/GN uses a turbo 3.8 V6, which traces its ancestry
back to the first buick V6 in the '60s. the SyTy uses a turbo 4.3 V6,
which is a smallblock chevy with a couple of cylinders hacked off.
completely different engines.

BTW, the syclone's turbo control system is considerably more primitive
than the one used in our UrS4/S6.
