[s-cars] Bose speakers remains on all the time, even with radio disconnected

I have a problem with the Bose system in my '96. It will stay on all the
time, even with the head unit disconnected! Before, I used to hear a relay
inside the dash click when I turned the radio on, but not anymore. Now I
have to pull the fuse to turn the speakers off. The head unit goes on and
off as it should (replaced the Delta CC with a Concert unit), but that's
all. How can it be like this even when I remove the radio? Is the switching
power to the relay going through anything else that can mess up operation?
