[s-cars] 996 Caliper Pin Question

So with the crummy weather this weekend I decided to install my 996 BBK.  I was planning on cutting the pins down by 1mm each to accept the 30mm rotor.  I just realized that my father has my dremel. 
What is the method for pushing the pins in?  Do I just use a big ass "C" clamp?  It looks like there are some type of locking pins that hold the caliper pins in though.
