[s-cars] 034 high output coils

Just last week I installed the 034 HO coils. As this is my 2nd UrS I had no
patience at all with farting around with the POSs and the coil packs - BTDT,
not at all interested in doing any more (NAAIIDAM). The stock system is
flawed, and there's a simple (but expensive) fix. Cody really has this
covered, but I'll annotate with the very latest info. I've had exactly the
same experience - they work great, but the kit is not up to par at all. In
summary:

1) Still no documentation, but they did direct me to a link on their site to
directions for their ill-fated 1.8T coil set, which was enough info to get
the job done. But no info came in the box, just parts - I had to call and
ask.

2) The brackets don't work, and they're still amazed they don't. I mounted
mine in what would be considered a conventional position - the high tension
lines do come out the top of the coils, but in order to do so I had to mount
the brackets to the face of the stress bar instead of around the stress bar.
I've asked 034 to make some new brackets & send them to me - we shall see.

3) The coils do mount up to the brackets now; they've provided long enough
spacers so the coils aren't all cheek-by-jowl - there's clearance.

4) The plug wires are still insanely long! I'm amazed that a so-called
custom app would have wires so long I could put the coils in the trunk. I
just snaked them around and they work fine, with no evidence of crossfiring,
but really, would it be so hard to make them fit???

5) Yes, a heat shield is a good idea. Electrics and heat are not always the
best of buds.

6) I've left the plug cover off until I suss it out - I think I'll just run
the AAN cover & create an insulator around where the wires exit.

Performance-wise it's the cats pajamas - an A+. The kit is a C-.
