[s-cars] WTB: Front Bumper Cover Clips

After driving another parking berm (spelling?) & tearing off my front bumper
cover, I've finally destroyed the plastic clips on the bumper cover itself
on both sides.  When you pull the bumper cover off the clips have part #'s
Left 4 A0 807 478C
Right 4 A0 807 477C

I've checked with the dealer & www.vagparts.com to no avail.  Dealer says
new bumper cover wholesale $1,300 retail: $1,452.  Remanufactured is $650
out of Vancouver B.C.  Any VW alternate part #'s?

All I need is the clips.  Anybody know where to buy them?  The bottom parts
of the clip are both broken off & my body guy says you can't weld the
plastic because it's the brittle type.  They may try and jerry-rig a
solution.

Let me know how you resolved the problem?
