Much thanks Paul. Big sis is still getting used to the little guy. She was
a little hesitant at first but once she saw him she got excited about being
the "oldest" and all the things she gets to teach him. Now she corrects me
if I call him by a nickname(Tommy or T.C.), "Daddy, his name is Thomas
Christopher did you forget?" Gotta love it.
Thanks also for the RNS-E info. I'll try and touch base with Paul W. and
search the archives. I am clueless about the newer generation Audi's cross
compatibilities, would a harness be necessary for a '04 S4?
The UrS is doing well, she is in the garage waiting for me to have the HRSB
end link "keys" tack welded to complete the install. Other than tack
welding the "keys" it's a pretty easy install. Going to do some other minor
maintenance items, ball joints need to be replaced due to the H&R fiasco and
SF bushings could use a refresh. I've been contemplating giving the AMD
control arm and SF bushing hardware a try. Control arms won't be available
until later this month so I have a little time to do research.
I sincerely hope that when you decide to retire from Portfolio Management
you jump full bore into being a writer. You've got a way with words and I
loved the 930 driving impressions post. Speaking of the 930, you lucky
SO..B. Congratulations on the score, to me it is the perfect car for you.
Wishing you many, many miles of pure P-car bliss.
Talk to you soon.
Regards,
Chris

Chris daddio'd!:
<<<Greetings,
Added another one to the ranks of future S-Car enthusiasts, my wife and I
welcomed a son to the world Tues. Oct. 30th. Thomas Christopher, 7lbs.
3oz., 19in. Mom and baby are doing very well.
In regards to the part request, I have a friend looking to upgrade his '04
S4 audio system to an Audi RNS-E unit. Don't know his budget yet, but told
him I'd ask around. Any leads would be much appreciated.
Chris>>>
Niiiiiiiiiiiice Chris! Congrats to you all! So, what's big 'sis think
about
having a little 'bro?
On the RNS-E, there's madman Paul Waterloo over on AWD2 who's recently
pioneered
this install into his '01 //S8. Find him over there as PaulW and do a
search
for RNS-E and you'll likely find a glut of info for your friend. There's a
harness that's available to simplify the integration. Contact Paul
for suggested sources. It truly is an amazingly awesome system - and I'm no
gadgetguy certainly.
Hope your(my) //S6 is doing well! Congrats on the '92 spring install. F'n
H&R!
Best of luck to you all down there in Ridgefield.
-Paul
