[s-cars] WTB : MAF

IIRC, when I got the MRC software, there were differences if you used the
stock MAF vs. the RS-2. In addition, the Pastore-Eichlin software
specifically requires the RS-2 MAF. I believe the voltage-flow rate curves
of the two MAFs are different at the top end of the range, although very
similar at the low end. Thus you run the risk of non-ideal A/F ratio
(uncertain if too lean or two rich) under high air flow conditions.

Whoa, dere, Mark. I wouldn't be assuring you it's a direct hardware
fit.

It's beyond my personal experience, but I didn't see anything changed
in the software for the MAF change. You'll have to get that
confirmation elsewhere, like a
second opinion, good practice anyway. There have been others say
that they have interchanged the MAF with no effect on operation. I
just wanted to point out
that options do exist if you are having trouble with the stock part.

Tom Sorry I can't be more help.
