Race pads work great when up to temperature, but they DO NOT work in cold
weather! Especially for winter use, you have to be crazy to use full race
pads- how would you ever get the brakes up to operating temp?

A lot of race pads don't exhibit a decent coeff. of friction until they are
up to operating temperature.

Aggressive street pads are fine, but running something like Hawk HT-14 or
Pagid Yellow for the street isn't going to work well.
