[s-cars] Where for art thou, euro light harness?

Steve:

Are you planning on installing high wattage bulbs? If not, you can just use
the original wiring. I'm pretty sure that the round plug is the same, the
only difference is the city lights.

If you compare the pin placement of the euros vs the DOTs, you will see an
extra pin for the city lights. All you have to do is buy the mating female
pin from Audi and install it in the round plug. The plug will come apart,
pull the rubber boot back and unclip the purple clip.

The female pin that mates to the city light is 000 979 117 and comes with a
yellow lead crimped on. You will need 2. These will need to be wired to the
parking light circuit using wire taps.

My recommendation is to install the euro lights, then phase 2 would be to
install a HID kit with a H1 bulb. This would be better than using HIDs with
the 900x low beams in the DOTs.

Cheers,

Sean Douglas in Vancouver
