[s-cars] weird electrical behavior

Thanks all. I think the consensus is that the ignition switch has 
gone bad. Wonder if I can get a 2 for 1 special at my local Audi 
parts department.

For those who care about this sort of thing, both cars have about 
145K on them, although we did just replace my son's ignition 
switch in February...

Maybe it's a scheduled maintenance item at 145K!
