Ummm....... i think you are getting Chris and I mistaken? Both my  
front H&Rs broke in 3 places each...... all from just normal driving-  
seriously. The wrench said he has seen it several times on various  
cars- all due to corrosion forming in the plastic-wrapped portion at  
top. They get weak and then on an abrupt/steep hit they just snap.

Sucks, but H&R warranted them with no questions.
