[s-cars] braided stainless brake lines for REAR.. DO/DONT ?

he's probably talking about fixed vs. sliding calipers. the stock calipers are sliding calipers, and replacement 4-piston calipers would be fixed.
however, if you get the routing and length correct, so that the hose doesn't stretch, kink, or interfere with anything, it should be OK. i do recall having to do some work to get my lines to the correct length and fitted properly. i installed them, didn't like the way it looked, took them off, shortened, reinstalled, removed, and shortened until i was happy with the setup.
but my hoses were assembled from hose ends and bulk hose. i didn't buy ready-made hose with swaged fittings like other people did. the good thing about that is the fittings are reusable, and it just costs me a few dollars for new hose to renew them.

Pray tell how does having different Calipers prevent braided lines
from failing?
