Jim -

First thing I would do is jack it up and lever on some things. As the
swaybar is the forward control arms, it usually takes a crowbar between the
lower control arm and upright to find if the ball joint is bad. While
jacked up, you can wiggle the wheels to check wheel bearings and whether or
not the upper strut mount is loose. I agree with Cody, the subframe could
be jiggling, but I have not yet had that happen to one of my cars. Most of
the 92-95 UrS subframes I've got still had the subframe bushings mostly
intact. They have had bad ball joints, loose inner control arm bushings,
bad swaybar bushings, and crunchy tie rods though.

Can you at least get it jacked up and wiggle things around?
