The main reason that I don't run the stock lines is that they wouldn't fit 
the Brembos. Dave Jones also carefully sized them so that there would be no 
interference. Another data point for all that hasn't been mentioned is that if you 
peel away the rubber outer on the stock brake line you will run into a 
braided hose line.
